San Cliemente, Peru
In response to the devastating earthquakes of August 2007 that destroyed many churches in Peru, Eleven Men went to San Cliemente, Peru to rebuild a church that had been destroyed.  In a matter of a few days, the Men of First Pentecostal Church were able to complete the project.  The building was restored with a new roof for the community to worship in.  Despite rampant theft and armed robbery, the men prevailed in completing the project.  Pastor Myers preached the dedication service attended by over 100 people at the conclusion of the building initiative.  We thank our Lord Jesus Christ for the opportunity to serve and the for His protection.  The Men of First Pentecostal fulfilled the promise made during the Earthquake relief effort of 2007 to return and rebuild.
Missions Update
A group of 17 men from First Pentecostal Church flew in to the Dominican Republic and in a matter of just a few days, built a complete church building for the locals to hold worship services in.The week these men were there, they were able to attend the very first service in the new building they had built just that week. As a result of their hard work and kingdom minded passion, there is now a Pentecostal church building in a community that previously did not have one. To God be the glory!
